Layne Staley fans should be happy with this news, the movie "Grassroots" which was directed by Stephen Gyllenhaal and to be released on 22 June, have two totally original themes of the late singer of Alice In Chains. This surprising news has caught us off guard, especially knowing that we wore over our heads in the reunification of Mad Season to discover more new material in the band's frontman remembered in Seattle.
The plot will focus on the figure of Phil Campbell, a renowned music critic who one day decides to opt for another one of the most important political office in the city of Seattle. Jason Biggs (Jim from American Pie series), Cedric The Entertainer (Boyz N the Hood), Cobie Smulders (Robin from How I Met Your Mother), Tom Arnols (True Lies) or Lauren Ambrose (Six Feet Underground) are some of the key players in this highly anticipated film.
While we wait for release "Grassroots" Here's the latest trailer we found on the net.The thing looks really good! To see how these pieces eventually end up sounding Layne forgotten.
